Irving, Texas, April 2022 – Newt Global Consulting, LLC, is pleased to announce that one of Thailand’s largest telecom companies has awarded us the prestigious end-to-end Azure Migration Project.
A key application of the client was assessed and discovered in phase 1 of the project by Newt Global. This study resulted in Newt Global creating a complete inventory of Application/ Database assets. In addition, Newt Global provided a detailed technical analysis of SQL, application interfaces, current TCO for five years, migration cost and timeline, target TCO for five years, and Application/ Database on Azure.
The business case built by Newt Global demonstrated an 80% savings when migrating to Microsoft Azure. The cloud provider funded the discovery and assessment phase. As a result of discovery/assessment, the client acknowledged the value of application and database migration to Azure. Newt Global built a detailed proposal including all aspects of cloud migration, business application migration (lift and shift), databases migration (import/export) from Oracle to PostgreSQL, DevOps implementation on Azure Cloud, security implementation on Azure Cloud, functional and performance testing. Newt Global will also support production deployment and post-production.
All client staff are Thai native speakers. Newt Global included Thai interpreters with technical knowledge in the project team to overcome this constraint.
