Arun Vishwanathan

Vice President – Sales

Arun is an avid technology enthusiast with 25 years of global experience – including technology solutions sales and client management. Arun brings a varied understanding of solution sales with a primary focus on customer acquisition, revenue generation & customer retention. He has worked extensively with customers and teams, based across Europe and North America, demonstrating skills as both a trusted partner and supporter of their goals.

Arun started his career in Ericsson where he worked in RF Engineering, Handsets, R&D, Program Mgmt., Marketing, Pre-sales, and Sales. In a sales capacity, he headed the account that sold to the US Government, and later he sold Ericsson services to Sprint Nextel Networks. After his stint at Ericsson, he worked for Wipro where he was their Global Client Partner for AT&T for more traditional IT services. 

Arun is continuously striving to learn and has master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing Management, and International Management. He is excited to learn about our platform led services and also learn the spirit of start up culture at Newt Global.

Arun lives in Plano, Texas with his wife Indu, and has a daughter Viha who is currently a junior at Georgetown University. His passions include motorcycles, tennis, mixology, and experimenting with the latest gadgets. The family also enjoys travel whenever possible

Arun will be focused on telco accounts and primarily focus on all Telco accounts including Verizon Juniper (Existing) while spearheading the acquisition of T-Mobile/Sprint, MetroPCS, and many more. Arun will also support Sandeep Rajeev and Alok in complementing AT&T account acquisition wherever needed. Arun will be directly reporting to me.  He will reach out to you for an intro.
